History:

well i came up with a story long ago....after shuura got his powers from the devil an ordinary shinigami by the name of kurinoshi hato ..yongnian wasn't that strong so...he got a new blade called the grass cutter of locusts...he then went to hell to test his capacity. and it took him 2 days. to rid hell into nothingness...and to defeat the devil satan. almost an eternity...kurinoshi was then granted. the name yongnian by the king of shinigamis.those who use the deathnotes that surpass almighty gods judgement power.yongnian.then fought shuura once..and changed.shuuras life signature technique into something called a death signature also...that he's now working on being able to use life signatures to what he wants to do...however keep in mind he's the creators creation. so its not known if the creator gave him this power.and an illusion to cover it up saying he got his abilities from shuura therefore gaining the name shinigami yongnian........
